# Flame purification Ceremony In the fictional "Eternal Flame Sect", every adult believer must go through an annual "flame purification ceremony" to prove his absolute loyalty to the fire god Alsace. ## Ceremony preparation Before the ceremony, believers need to retreat in the temple on the top of the mountain for seven days and drink only a special herbal soup made by the holy fire to purify their body and mind.
