The proportion of people who have been in prison who commit crimes again is relatively high, but it cannot be said that most of them will commit crimes again. Some people have truly repented through education and self-reflection during their sentences, and have acquired correct values and behaviors. After being released from prison, they can get back on track, abide by laws and regulations, and start their lives again. However, there are indeed some factors that increase the risk of reoffending for some released prisoners.
