This statement is inaccurate and one-sided. The Dai people are a nation with unique culture and traditions. They actively participate in the public affairs of their own nation and the local area. In the areas where the Dai people live, people have a strong sense of community and collective ideas. They participate in village management, cultural heritage, festival organization and other affairs in various ways to jointly maintain and develop the characteristics and life of their own nation. Each ethnic group has actively integrated into the process of social development and contributed to the construction of the local and national areas. We cannot label a certain ethnic group with unfair participation in public affairs in a general way. Instead, we should understand and view the performance and contributions of each ethnic group in social life from an objective, comprehensive, respectful and understanding perspective.
